Episode 017: John Thornburg MT FWP, CWD in Montana

Welcome to Episode 017 of the Bowhunting Montana Podcast!  This episode is one of the more important episodes that we have recorded. Chronic Wasting Disease is becoming more and more prevalent in the landscape and the biologists and technicians at FWP are working hard to understand the disease, how to reduce its transmission and how to handle the upcoming hunting season. In this episode we discussed a lot of the unknowns with FWP’s CWD Program Lead Technician, John Thornburg, to better understand the challenges the disease presents and how we as hunters in Montana can be an active part of the solution. Please volunteer, please test your animals, please stay abreast of the ever growing amount of information. #bowhuntmt
